Crafting a dress for my daughter was a very daunting task indeed...but in the end all was well...take a look see for yourself :) This time, I had to make something to wear for myself as well as the maid of honor. As it was a relaxed, picnic-beach-wedding, the style was easy going and comfortable. I made a maxi-dress for the bridesmaid that she could wear again, and a layered tulle & lace A-line dress for myself - hand dyed and all! The wedding dress was made with a layer of extensive embroidered and beaded tulle and silk. The photography was done by Riekert Cloete.
